COVID-19 GUIDELINES REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR ALL WORSHIP ATTENDEES Face coverings will be worn when entering or leaving the building and while speaking or singing during worship. Face coverings may be removed during the sermon and if you choose to sing-in-your-heart rather than sing out loud. Households are expected to follow social distancing guidelines, as well. Please save greetings and friendly chit-chat until after worship in the parking lot. Masks and social distancing is still recommended during this time.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL HAS RETURNED TO IN-PERSON GATHERINGS. Since a social distancing (and/or face covering) ordinance is in place by the City of Branson; face coverings will be required for all class participants. The Seekers class still met via ZOOM last Sunday, Nov. 1 because leadership was traveling. Class leadership/membership may make appropriate concessions regarding in-person versus continuing virtual class gatherings.
FPC Youth is beginning to gather some in the Youth Building, as well as, two BSA troops and PEO.
Please contact the church office with questions or concerns.
We are looking for a proactive, efficient Church Custodian who possesses an understanding of proper cleaning methods and a respect for the religious and cultural beliefs of others. The Church Custodian will ensure that all publicly accessible areas of the church are clean and ready for other staff members and the congregation to use. You will make minor repairs, change light bulbs, vacuum, sweep, and scrub floors, sanitize surfaces, and restock items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies. You may also maintain supply inventory, submit purchase requests, and assist with preparations for events, such as weddings or funerals.
To be a successful Church Custodian, you should be observant, respectful, motivated, and committed to providing church members, visitors, and staff with a clean, orderly place to worship and congregate. You should also be knowledgeable about proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques and have the ability to make basic repairs, including plumbing and electrical work.

How do you respond when your world is shaken by the changes caused by the Covid pandemic? How do you respond to loss? Grief? Cultural and political divisiveness? How can we remain faithful when the future seems so uncertain, even fearful? What can we do when we’re pressured to conform to things that contradict our Christian faith? How can we demonstrate our faith in places where it is unpopular or even dangerous to do so? What do you do when the next step in discipleship seems like mission impossible?
These are not new issues but in fact faced by every generation throughout the history of God’s people. No surprise then that they have been addressed in and through the firm foundation of God’s excellent Word. If 2020 was a challenge and the start of 2021 seems likewise you are invited to join us on Wednesday nights. You are encouraged to bring a Bible and invited to bring your own brown bag supper as we join together to feed on the Scriptures for nourishing life application answers to these and other questions. [Social distancing requirements will be in place, a meal will not be provided by the church.]
