Advent

Pastors Tom & Dustin

“Advent” means “Coming.” In the four weeks leading up to Christmas as well as the two Sundays following, we’re asking, “What was it like to look forward to the coming of the Messiah, God’s chosen Rescuer?” To answer that question, we’re looking at the experiences of several characters (Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the like) so that we can experience what it was like for them to anticipate this great “Coming.”

RECENT SERMONS

I AM

Have you ever asked, “Who is Jesus?” Jesus tells us exactly who He is. In this “I Am” series, we’ll hear directly from Jesus about who He says He is. Spoiler Alert: He’s really, really good!

 2 Timothy

Paul writes his last encouraging words to a young Timothy. How to deal with critics, trust God's Word, follow Christ when life is hard--Pastors Tom and Dustin preach on these topics in this sermon series.

1 Timothy

Paul writes to Timothy about living a godly life when others don't. Timothy needs guidance on preaching and leadership. Join us in person or online for these powerful sermons.

THE BIBLE

More than anything else, First Presbyterian Church wants you to encounter God's presence in worship. The primary way that God meets with people is through the Bible. For that reason, we read, pray, sing, preach, listen to, and obey the Bible because it's God's actual words given to us. We pray that God would use His Word and these worship services to speak to you, to encourage you, and to bring you closer to Him. Reach out and let us know how we can better serve you. We can't wait to meet you!
